Romania-born, Australian-raised and now living in Canada, I've had the experience that most children of immigrants have. Growing up there was acculturative stress as well as growth, and a complex process of identity development. As a bicultural person, I navigated two cultures and developed both collectivist and individualistic ways of being. This life experience has served me well in my work with people from all walks of life.
I have always loved having all kinds of pets and I like to day dream of having a farm or a wildlife sanctuary with domestic or wild animals one day. Although I love all animals, I am definitely a cat person. I have 2 cats named Pip and Bearcat at home.
I have also discovered a love for nature and all things outdoors. I like camping, snowboarding, paddle boarding and hiking.
In my 20's I began travelling and I discovered a love for adventure, sight seeing and immersing myself in different cultures. This prompted my move to Canada in 2011. I thought I would stay for a one year working holiday but I am still here!
I have travelled to 13 countries and I plan on seeing many more.
